8mon

Hes now 8mon..........he has 2teeth coming in on top. His personality is just like daddy, silly. Angel loves to scare people, he will randomly just growl at you if he knows you well. He giggles when he drops his snacks on the kitchen floor and the dogs eat it =) yes he feeds them his animal crackers its cute.

When hes on the floor and his sister and cousin are running around in the hall he tries to go with them but gets upset when they out run him, hell yell "ey!" meaning "wait for me!" lol.

When he wants your attention hell grunt.......when hes tired he wont tell you hell just rub his eyes and try to keep playing so he can avoid sleep. I mainly put him down for his nap (in the afternoon) and when its bed time, I do this by rocking him, OH BOY~ when you sit in that rocking chair he will start to fuss, he knows the routine. Speaking of routine, his sleep is better. He is back in his bed, we wont put him in ours until I'm about to go to work.

Food wise he eats better, he loves fresh banana, I started giving it to him again and I'm monitoring how he is with it, as long as hes not backed up hes ok. He enjoys eating white rice and pieces of bread.He has also started to enjoy a Popsicle with daddy or sister when its hot outside .

He loves to still kiss you, again only if he knows you well, hes starting to be aware of strangers. Hes teething so his kisses start off sweet then you will be bitten =/ ouch!! he will squeeze your face , his smile melts you.

When were in the kitchen he sits in his highchair and will chat with you, while playing with his spoon or any tupperware small enough for him.

I cant wait for him to be running around, I'm ready for him.........He loves his sisters to pieces, he wont pull Akiras hair, he likes for her to feed him, sometimes shell be the only one hell eat with (yes I love that and she does also...sometimes)

As for Gena, she's gentle with him, doesn't hold him hes a wiggle worm, but he LOVES to pull her hair.....she wont be upset she softly tells him "no papa don't pull my hair k?" shes so sweet.........he smiles when he sees them and screeches out of excitement with both of them.

I love my kids......they all complete a piece of me...the girls, the girlie part I really don't have ...they get me to paint their nails and think about doing their hair and noticing how I can be a better example......

for angel, he brings out the tomboy I've been hiding....(since having girls) I like to play rough (gently) with him...I cant wait to run around with him with trucks <3 God knew what I needed.......and now I have them

Angels first ER visit.

This past Saturday Angel was sick, he had a fever of 101.5 which was the highest it got. I gave him Tylenol and it didn't really budge. He seemed fine and wasn't very fussy, I gave him a bath and even put a cold cloth on his forehead while Oni had the fans near him....nothing. We decided to call the nurse hotline and once I got ahold of someone they recommended we go to the ER at Children's, mainly because I told them his urine had a strong smell and I was worried it was a urine infection.

Once we got to the ER he was seen right away, there wasn't many ppl there. His temp was still 101.5 they weighed him and let me know we can give him Children's Motrin 1tbsp............he was extremely fussy by this time it was already 12am and he hasn't slept or ate much plus they cked his blood pressure on his ankle and he was not happy. Once we went to the back and the Dr came he checked his ears and so on and then his throat, and that's when

1)Angel screamed and cried 2) they discovered he had red spots in his throat.

Yup.......handfootmouth disease or herpangina.......its common in small kids..they can get it from anywhere that isn't very clean, that morning I took him with me to get some groceries and for the FIRST time I put him in the cart like a big boy, yes I cleaned it...but he kept grabbing the belt of the seat next to him which I didn't clean that well, I'm not saying he got sick from that exact situation but its a possibility....yes I felt awful although I know it wasn't done on purpose as a mother I felt responsible for it. They also cked his urine and while that happened I wanted to cry..I kept kissing his forehead telling him it will be over soon and that I'm sorry.....I felt helpless....Im sure he did also.

I left the ER within 1hr of being there....we went home without meds, we could only give him Motrin. The nights were restless, he didn't eat much or sleep or even drink much. Today hes ALOT better his spots are gone and hes now sleeping more . As for food not much, turns out hes afraid that it will hurt =(

Im writing this to let you know what happened now that hes better, I haven't had much sleep and its been hard to do much, since hes been sick hes been VERY attached to me. I mean...he cries when I leave the room while Oni holds him and throws himself on me when I'm near.....he sleeps when I hold him but wont with daddy... he will cry and fuss until I get him. This was his first major illness.=(

Picky picky............

So my son is picky......hes not much of a juice person or water, hell drink water after a few attempts but not much. Hes not a fruit fan, only if its in his oatmeal but he refuses to eat it alone. Ive mentioned before his favorite veggies so they havent changed. He is 7mon and growing , but I want him to try to eat what we eat so it makes it easier for him to transition to regular foods. I am searching for baby food recipes all I can find are different combinations in veggies and fruits. People keep telling me to give him fruits or veggies he cant have, its not their fault I dont announce to the world what hes not able to have unless they ask. I am planning to re-introduce the foods he doesnt care for........slowly. I made him some lentil soup last night it had carrots and potatoes and let me tell you, it was an experience for him to even eat half of the bowl. He can be really stubborn and will refuse to eat even though hes hungry, so I dont give in, I wont give him what he wants, it sounds mean I know but I cant have him think that mommy will give in. He is super smart and knows that if he cries and is persistant enough we will give in, but I need to show him that what I am serving him he needs to eat. I am also making sure he still doesnt fall asleep with a bottle in his mouth. It has been almost a week or so that he hasnt woke up for a bottle. He sleeps well now at night as long as hes comfortable. I love coming home from work to hear his screeches of joy and his hands up in the air.........he does the same to Akira when he sees her.......he shows who he wants and when he wants them......he will look away if he doesnt want you...........hes becoming a person full of character so quickly, soon he will be 8mon and then in a blink of an eye 1yrs old........oh my baby boy............time surely flies....

Scary baby..........grrrr

Angel is now 7mon, hes become the most happiest silliest loving little boy ever. When he was smaller he was calm and quiet....very serious, I thought he was going to be the serious child....but as he got older that changed, now all he wants to do is jump and play and laugh, he loves to see himself in the mirror or phone he will kiss his reflection =) he now has a new thing other than yelling with us................he likes to "scare" you, he goes "grrrr" and waits for you to react.........its just so cute how he changes his tone from a scream to a growl..........he knows what hes doing.

When I walk in the house from work he screeches............hes excited .....he moves around and then his arms are up for me to get him and he just smiles...........he will continue to do this until I get him, I cant ignore him hes just to cute.Once I hold him he holds on tight...........if you try to get him he will just give you a serious look and will push your arms away......aww love....lol

Hes also started wanting to play at night...........just this morning (3am) he woke up complety.........I changed his diaper....once I was done he wanted to play he even growled at me.................umm no Mommy's not scared Mommy's tired.......he tried to get daddy to play......nothing.........he fussed he tossed and turned..........daddy patted his booty and he passed out. I was told by my cousin who's son is about 2 to just ignore him so we try to...yes its hard (especially when he tries to be to cute!) but it worked.

His appetite changes daily, he eats GREAT in the morning....lunch well................not much, dinner he does good also. But I've noticed hes hungry AGAIN later on once dinner is done, I'm thinking its because hes growing , we don't ignore it we feed him a little more....but not over do it hes good about stopping when hes full. I'm also working on not letting him fall asleep with a bottle.......he sometimes just wants it to fall asleep but hes not hungry so it goes bad, I let him fuss and cry, see daddy didn't get him into the binky when I went back to work.....I had him use it once he was done eating just to sooth him.....now he refuses it....but it seems like its what he wants or needs and looks to have that from his bottle. There are days where he will only have 3 bottles..........the whole day ...then there's days where he has more....mainly because he needs it to sleep that's why Im trying to show him that if hes ate and hes not hungry hes not getting it..... we do give him water which hes now allowed hes not to fond of it yet...........I don't give him juice, even if I did he doesn't like it.........he doesn't even like to eat fruit he prefers veggies......which is good =)

I'm just overly excited to see how much more he does as he gets older...........my girls were total opposites so this is a new adventure for me =)

Ok so Angel went yesterday for his 6mon ckup....hes now 19lb and 27in long
hes a big boy! He now has 2 bottom teeth and hes been fussy lately and VERY
needy! Im thinking about putting him back into our bed..............I know
I know but honestly he ends up there anyways and he doesnt sleep as long I
did start giving him the  hylands teething tablets at night but he wakes up
hours later and then its down hill from there..... he looks for me and if
Im holding him hes out but if I put him down hes up....Onis been a trooper
and is up with him, along with Gena. She has been sick lately, shes had
fevers and headaches, I took her along with Angel to the dr but she was
fine.  I know hes tired.... Oni still has to work from home and hasnt been
able to since the kids are needy.....I will need to see how it goes, I know
he doesnt want to bring him back into the bed but maybe if Angel sleeps
good hell change his mind! haha

Anywho, Angel is extremly mobile no turning around for a second for
us.........hes gone.......near the dogs mainly.. He has a personality! he
loves to laugh hes so silly, he knows that if he yells he can get the grls
to yell back and then its just a "who screams louder"
game.............@__@. He learned to clap! oh man and he talks! I will need
to upload a video of him he has such an expression! He loves his sisters
ALOT......he sees them he smiles and goes to grab their faces so he can
kiss them (bite) but were trying to show the kids that its not ok for him
to bite so we just tell them to make sure to kiss him quick and move his
hands gently. Ive been thinking about not using the word NO with him, its
hard! but I dont want him to think its ok to just say it to us , you knw
the  "NO" for everything stage.........well see how we do! so far Im
catching myself haha.....

A mobile baby, or toddler?

Well it's ofical! He's now able to roll back and forth and get to where he wants to be or grab what he wants!!! Does this make him a toddler? he doesn't even sit alone yet! He does do a "military crawl" to push himself forward. We have a sleeping bag my cousin gave our Grls a few years ago which they don't fit into anymore so we spread it out and he has that for the floor so it's softer.... Now that he knows how to move around the poor dogs are scared! He loves them and wants to just grab them and "kiss them" . They just look at us becaus since he's been born it's been "no baby" and they don't touch him... But lately we've been letting them get closer (or their safety not to close lol) they do smell him and try to lick him (ewww!) due to this new stage though he's NOT allowed to nap on our bed:( so he's been using his crib everyday yes even for night time. He is still sick but daddy doesn't want to step backwards so he is in his bed and when he wakes up or I go to work he's in ours. I think I now have to get on the floor and pretend to be him and look for "danger zones".... Wish me luck!

Sleeping in his crib night 1&2

Ok so we decided that it was time for Angel to sleep in his room. The first night was pretty good we had the monitor on the boxer slept in his room to make sure he was safe (yes were protective) lol we could hear every fuss and movement so it kept us up. We were worried but he was ok:) I did bring him into our room before I got ready for work so he could sleep longer.
Overall night 1 success!

2nd night
ohhhh man! Sooo the difference was that the first night I put him to sleep on top of his comforter, why? He's use to our pillowtop bed and his is harder since it's for babies, the comforter makes it more cushy, well daddy didn't do that he didn't know what I did or why I did it the night before, anyways he was up WAY more than normal so sleep was not part of the night for us. So imagine me and Oni being sleep deprived and having to still function, yes it was a hard day!

3rd night
yesterday oni took Gena and angel to the dr, they both seemed sick Gena had a sore throat and he was just not himself. Well they both cked out fine Gena did have a cold but he was ok. Well last night Oni woke me up at 12 that angel was very stuffy and he wasn't feeling well:( so he slept in our room but wasn't a happy camper. I held him in my arms in a sitting position so he can sleep. Before that daddy took him to his swing so he can let me sleep more.... Once he woke up from there he brought him to me which was fine I told him to bring him so he can also rest. Angel was off and on alseep.... I hope he gets better soon so he can sleep in his crib.

Angels new favorites

So lately we've noticed he has his favorite litle things, example: for feeding it HAS to be me (lunch and dinner) he won't really allow daddy to feed him in the mornings, so once I get home he smacks his lips to let me know he's hungry. While being changed (diaper) he has to have hid little doggy or a stuffed toy to hug and bite lol it keeps him happy and he wiggled less. He still loves bath time and splashes alot he laughs up a storm when I try to put his clothes on, he blows rasberries and giggles when I say "ewww drooly baby!" he copies us when we laugh he will also start laughing;)<3

Now the not so fun stuff, The past few nights he's been waking up crying for no reason at all..... He's not hungry and isn't wet, doesn't want to be held either (he bit me on my shoulder as proof) yes he's teething but Tylenol didn't help, he hates the orajel so I don't put it on him. I mentioned before he's been backed up that was resolved, so we thought. He was starting to be again so I read up on it and change his eating schedule a bit, just invade he had a stomach ache. He eats cereal in the am (if he let's daddy) when I'm home I give him veggies.... Dinner use to be cereal but I took that away and just give him more veggies and a bottle. I tried that last night and.......

HE SLEPT almost all night! He went down for a nap at 7:30(normal nap time) but at 8ish I went to bed also.... He woke up at 11 and was out within 20min and didn't get up again until 9:30!!!!!:D oh man! That's a record for him! lucky daddy was home I guess this is pay back?:/ lol

Overall he's an awesome baby!

Silly boy

Angel has a personality! He loves to scream just to scream and pretends to gag and loves being scared. He's now having baby food but lately we've noticed he's "backed up" I googles and found he's able to have prune juice deluted well he wasn't having it he'd drink it male faces and would not want it...i bought prune fruit for him... Same reaction:/ ughh sooo I kept trying he had some but then just looked at me with a serious face and refused to open up. We changed to oatmeal cereal and he's not going to be having apple bananna or carrots for now, honestly, he's like Gena...she has the same issue:( he goes but not like normal and he's more fussy because of it. Overall he's such a good baby.... He loves to be busy and has a monkey jumper cousin Eddie gave him he jumps soooo much until he's tired! Lol his naps are still short but sleeps great at night. He's getting so big:(

if he wants ur attention he'll scream at u! It's cute:) he loves to laugh and splash in the bathtub.... Once he's out and in his crib he acts like he's been wound up and moves alot kicks screams and laugh I look forward to that every night! Lately bed time is 9.... But I'm wking on getting him to bed by 8-8:30 this will give us our time to relax and get ready for the next day...

Tastebuds

So the pediatrician mentioned that we need to start giving Angel some baby food not meals just yet but more of "tasting" some foods. Earlier in his 4mon I gave him some fresh banana by scrapping the banana with a baby spoon he didn't carr for it so I didn't push it. So Saturday I decided to try again since it was time for him to eat anyways and he smacks his lips when he's hungry so sees us eating I grabbed a banana and a spoon and gave him a taste, at first he made faces and looked away but then once he swallowed it he looked happy he continued to try it and seemed happy about it he'd actually hold my hand while the spoon was in his mouth and would get fussy if I took to long to give him more lol. Now I can't give him to much yet but with time he'll be able to give him more than just tastes;)

my plan for him is to make him foods at home. I'm not against moms that buy baby foods I did that for the girls but I also made them foods at home and so did my inlaws I just really rather start him off more natural. I know I won't be able to make it all the time but if I can 90% of the time I'll be happy;)

4mon physical

Angel had his 4mon physical and daddy took him because I was at work. Angel is 16lbs and 25in long.... Weight wise he's a little big but since he's long it equals out but it's not alot that he's over, last time he was 14 and they said he shouldve been 15 lol weird I know. Per the dr him rolling from hid back to his tummy is advanced ( I guess it's harder than rolling from your tummy to your back) he does try to stand when you hold him which she also mntioned is to soon so she said he might walk sooner than normal and due to him being a little ahead we need to start introducing food to him, but just to taste, this way he can have the proper vitamins for his muscles to get stronger.Oni said he got about 5 shots and 1 in the mouth he said he didn't cry just fussed but the last one was a painful shot so he did cry but daddy grabbed him quick to comfort him and he stopped crying and just sighed heavily:( talk about being a tough little boy! Overall he's right on track:D

When he got home I luckily finished with dinner and was able to hold him. He wasn't fussy at first, he was actually very happy and giggle. He's been skipping naps lately I think he's going to be a little kid that rather play than nap lol Gena was like that but not until she was 1. Through the afternoon he fussed more and more he's also been stuffy so that didn't help him. Daddy took him a warm bath with the vapor bath and let him sit in it so all the mucous can get loose, amazing sometimes after a bath he acts like he napped for hours and is just soooo hyper and happy!! He didn't fall asleep until about 10, he was in his swing laughing and cooing and then boom he passed out. last night he did ok, I did hold him for a while but when I woke up for work I laid him on hid side and he kept sleeping. I hope he gets better soon:(

just wanted to add that akiras been good with him she holds him and helps out, and Gena loves him to pieces, that is a plus for us:)

Busy body

Just a quick update on angel, he's a busy body! He prefers to be on the floor and roll around he can't roll all the way each time but boy oh boy he tries! Even on his swing he tries! He loves being held but he starts grunting and arching hid back when he wants down which means he wants to play with his toys sooo he is put in his bouncer and he's a happy baby pulling on his toys. He now knows that when the phone is pointed to him it's for a picture or video and he will stare at it....O__O

he loves kisses<3 and to sleep on his tummy, he's a handful because we can't do much if he's bored! Lol naps are quick. He will be my little tornado<3 I'm ok with that!

Milestones

Angel has so far done: rolled over said mama loves to sit and watch his surroundings grabs his toes and they go into his mouth sucks his thumb sleeps about 5-7hrs at night BUT loves sleeping on my chest or his tummy.... He loves to giggle and is ticklish:) he will grab my face and give me wet kisses he makes it known it he doesn't want to go to u he'll turn away or will lean towards u for u to hold him, he's Ben a wonderful addition to our family<3 he loves kisses and to snuggle.... He'd 17lbs and fits in 6mon cloths because he's long not because of weight...

Two months

Angel is two months old as of last week<3 he's changed alot ... He's now 12.8lbs loves to giggle and smile he coos when he sees someone he knows.... He follows our voices also:). He hates tummy time! Oh boy he really hates it!!! Lol I still have him do it but I make sure to hold him after to calm him dwn. He has a cold right now... So he's been very fussy :( he has a chest cold so he sounds like a purring kitten and when he coughs or sneezes he goes "ohhh" amazingly he's still a happy baby for the most part! He loves bath time he will sit there and kick his feet in the water it's sooo cute:) he still fits in SOME new born clothing but mainly 0-3mon I'm not sure how long he is he hasn't gotten his shots yet. He seems to have a routine, after waking up in the am around 7 he feeds burps gets a fresh diaper then bouncer.... He seems to look forward to it lol he sees his toys and he just has a giggle fest! He also has a swing which helps alot!! Once he's put in there it has toys on top so he looks at it and then more than 90% of the time he falls asleep:) he seems to love music... If I sing to him or he hears it he just seems mesmerized by it..... He seems to love pushing himself ... If were holding him and sitting down he will push and make his legs stay straight.... Also he doesn't like being held like a new born.... He needs to be looking around or be held looking at ur face chest to chest but not laying down. He will let u know what he wants.... He starts off wth a fuss.... Little by litle he gets louder then BOOM screams! Lol he seems to be warning u it's silly but he knows we won't let him get tooo angry because then he's just done... He's changed alot in his face also I'll post later some updates pics I'll update the post:) txs for cking up on us!

Busy life!

It's been about over a month since I've been able to blog, Angel is growing so quickly:( I've had to stop bf all together an it breaks my heart... I hve tried all I can to produce more milk but all has failed.... He's stopped latching on for longer than 3min so my milk has been very low I have pumped to make more.... Fail... Less than 1/2 ounce.... That's with both sides he becomes very fussy when he's on.... I rather he feed from a bottle and not be fussy than me be selfish:(.... I stopped about a few days ago... I really fight the urge to latch him on because I know 2sec later he'll cry... I dnt regret trying.... It's made me bond more with him and it lasted 6.5wks.... I'm proud that I lasted that long and wish I wouldve tried with my grls. Since I've stopped he now weighs 11.2lbs .... He's gained more weight which I'd good... I am determined though to make him his baby food when he starts eating I spoke to my fil and he is on board with me:)

He still wakes up every 2-3hrs at night.... But when he is up in the morning he's such a happy baby... He smiles coos and starting to giggle more each day:) it's been hard keepin up with the house and so on but I've managed to clean up but not deep clean.... I have alot of help once Oni is home which is awesome.... I love my little family I'll post some pics soon.... The holidays were extra special this year:)
